How AluCut works

  1. Choose your product and stock length. Pick the aluminium profile you need — angle, channel, RHS, flat bar or tube — and a full or half length.
  2. Enter your cut sizes. Open Cut to size and enter how many pieces and each length in millimetres. Add as many sizes as your job needs with “+ Add another size,” and give the job a name if you like.
  3. AluCut optimises — instantly. It works out the fewest stock lengths to cover your cuts, shows a visual cut layout of how each piece nests into the length (allowing for saw kerf), and prices the cutting as you go. Live estimate: material required, cuts used, cutting charge and total.
  4. Keep your offcuts — free. Choose to have your leftover material sent with the order at no charge, or leave it with us.
  5. Add the cut job to cart. No quote wait, no back-and-forth. It’s cut to order and ready in a few business days.

Why AluCut is different

  • Aluminium specialists. This is all we do — angle, channel, RHS, flat bar, tube, sheet and plate. AluCut is tuned for aluminium stock lengths and our cutting.
  • A visual cut layout, not just a number. You see exactly how your pieces will be cut from each length before you buy.
  • Lengths and sheet. AluCut optimises 1D length cuts and 2D sheet cutting — not just simple lengths.
  • Offcuts kept free, real Melbourne supply from our Hallam warehouse, and the same fair pricing for trade and retail.

Built and refined for aluminium

AluCut is tuned specifically for aluminium — our stock lengths, our saws, and the jobs our customers actually run. We keep refining it with real trade feedback so the cut plan you see is the one that gets made.

Cutting is priced per product (some products include free cuts). Cutting tolerance ±2mm; allow ~6mm kerf loss per cut. Made-to-order cut-to-size cannot be returned if the measurements entered are wrong — see our refund policy.
