We cut & pack
We cut the 25.4mm tube to your lengths in Hallam and box it with the right connectors.

Tap it together
Seat the joints with a rubber mallet, cap the ends — done. No welder, no rust, reconfigurable any time.
Building tip: for a permanent or load-bearing build — a workbench or loaded shelving — glue the joints and screw or rivet them for maximum strength.

Questions, answered
Is it strong enough for a workbench or a loaded shelf?
Yes. Tapped together it's solid for everyday loads. For heavy or load-bearing builds we recommend gluing the joints and adding a screw or rivet — that makes them effectively permanent and very strong.
Can I take it apart and reuse it?
If you haven't glued it, yes — pull it apart and rebuild into something else any time. That's the point of a modular system.
What tube does it use?
25.4mm × 25.4mm aluminium square tube (mill or anodised finish). We stock it and cut it to your lengths.
Do you cut to size, and how is it priced?
Yes — we cut to your exact lengths in Hallam. Cut-to-size tube is sold in our standard half (3.25m) and full (6.5m) lengths, so your billed length is rounded up to the next block. The designer shows this before you order.
